PHISH U.S. Bank Arena, Cincinnati, OH. November 21, 22, 2009

What an awesome weekend at the US Bank Arena! Phish played on Friday 11/20 and Saturday 11/21/2009. I was very impressed Friday night by the new songs, Time Turns Elastic was tight and epic, and Light was very cool coming out of Tweezer. Slave and YEM to close 2nd set - solid! My highlight for Saturday was Rock & Roll > Ghost. About 30 seconds befor Phish came on for 2nd set Colleen asked me what I wanted to hear, I said "Rock & Roll" not expecting to hear it right of the bat. I've posted a few photos from the Saturday night show. There are plenty of video's on YouTube from both nights. I've embedded a clip of Fluffhead from Friday that is pretty decent quality, the camera is steady and the clip gives a nice sample of the amazing light show and the raging crowd. Rollinsville, CO - fake tilt shift

Here is shot of Rollinsville, CO with a quick tilt shift effect, rather than using a tilt shift lens. This effect creates a miniature look to the image. Although I didn't follow this technique exactly, here is a link to a step by step "how to" Tilt Shift Photoshop via Dr. C.

Mid Point Music Festival

MPMF was a great time as usual. Below are some photos of our current favorite band from Ypsilanti, Michigan Lightning Love . We were turned on to L.L. by our favorite local band Bad Veins, and the word is that both bands will play Northside Tavern on NYE 10'. We also witnessed an awesome set from Chicago via Columbus band Loyal Divide at the CAC.
